Today, charity golf events are certainly becoming more and more popular around the country, as many people are recognizing the promotional and moneymaking opportunity involved in golf events.  With just a decent turnout, you can make a lot of money for your charity.

Another great reason why golf is such a popular way to raise money for charity is that many golfers have a lot of money; therefore, you can plan on making quite a bit of cash for your charity golf event. Golf can be quite expensive, because there are so many things to buy; golf balls, the round, club memberships, a golf cart, etc. Therefore, golfers have earned the reputation as being relatively wealthy, and for many this is the case. This is another important reason that charity golf events are becoming so popular.

Some great ways to make your charity golf event or golf day more fun are the following: first of all, give out golf tournament gifts for everybody plays in it. This could be something as simple as golf umbrellas, logo tees, golf balls, etc.  Simply adding this touch shows the players your appreciation for them playing, and will therefore encourage them to keep playing year after year.
